Male Yeast Infection Facts
|
| Identification, cause,
affects; these are the male yeast infection facts. |
Misunderstood and overlooked, male yeast infections are
one of the best kept secrets in the health world.
Men can go through their entire life not knowing they are affected by a yeast
infection. The difficulty comes in that there are not many ways to detect it in a male. When women get a yeast
infection, it is vaginal most of the time. The vaginal infection is a sign that there are things amiss in the
woman’s body. Men have no signs until other problems occur with their health.
The most common method of men finding they have a yeast infection is that their
significant other has one and tells him he probably has it as well. If you are a man and you suspect you have yeast
infection, see a doctor. If you have one, then chances are repeated sex will just transfer the yeast back and
forth. Neither of you will ever get rid of it until they abstain.
Yeast infection and sex go together. If she has a vaginal infection then when you have
sex, especially unprotected sex, you expose your urethra to the fungus. Once inside the urethra, the next stop
is the prostate gland.
Prostate problems are well documented and shockingly prevalent in me. The original
yeast infection that travelled through the urethra originally could lay dormant in the prostate for years. When it
activates itself, that’s when problems like prostate cancer show up.
There is a relationship between drinking beer and skin yeast on penises. Because the
penis is outside the body, their could be dormant yeast on the surface of the penis, simply because the temperature
is only in the high 70’s Fahrenheit or mid 20’s on the surface. But take that same yeast laden penis and put it
inside an environment like the inside of a woman’s vagina, and the yeast will activate itself in the warmth and
mucous membrane on the surfaces.
Dry cracked skin on the penis is the usual sign of a yeast infection. Erections can be
very painful as the dried skin will crack.
Male yeast infections have a number of possible causes
1. Antibiotics
2. All forms of alcohol
3. Sex
4. Wheat and corn products
5. Peanuts
6. Barley
Everything except antibiotics and sex promotes candida infection by disturbing the
balance between good bacteria and the candida albicans in the intestine. That affects the acidity and improves the
chances of the candida yeast taking over.
An easy test for male yeast infection is the spit test. It
must be done first thing when you wake up. Have a glass of water ready and when you wake up, spit into it. Over the
next 15 minutes there are a couple of outcomes. Either the spit will dissolve and dissipate in the water. That
means you probably don’t have a yeast infection.
An indication that you have a yeast infection is that the spit turns cloudy or
develops strings or sinks to the bottom. That is a sign that you may have a male yeast infection. The difference
between the two outcomes is very easy to spot.
