One of the best home remedies for yeast infection are curds or yogurt. Two or three times a day, you can soak a tampon in the curds or yogurt and insert it for an hour at a time. These substances replace the unhealthy yeast with healthy strains.

A great dietary change to fight yeast infection is buttermilk. Two glasses of buttermilk everyday will reduce the chances of a yeast infection.

Another home remedy for yeast infection is a mixture of grapefruit seed and olive leaf extract mixed in a glass of water and drank.
