Candida Albicans
|
|
Candida Albicans can be viscious, robbing the health of the host. |

Candida albicans is the major suspect in most yeast infection
cases. Candida
albicans, a form of yeast can be a cause of everything from a vaginal yeast infection to heart
failure.
The number of possible afflictions that
can be initiated originally from candida albicans in the system is like a who’s who of medical
journals. Everything from depression to chronic fatigue can be attributed to an overgrowth of candida
albicans.
Candida albicans live naturally in the
intestinal tract. They are normally kept under control by agents such as lactobacillus acidophilus, which also
lives in the intestinal tract.
The two live in balance a large majority of the time. But introduce things like
antibiotics, unprotected sex, hormonal changes, and the balance may be eliminated. When candida albicans get the
upper hand in the balance then they reproduce at a much faster rate which magnifies the
situation.
When this happens, the result is a
yeast infection. A yeast infection is caused by an internal imbalance somewhere in the body, most likely the
digestive tract. Candida albicans crave damp and warm areas. The mouth, intestinal tract and
vagina are perfect environments for candida albicans.
When in environments like this, they
attach themselves to the mucosa membranes on the surface of wherever they are. Intestinal, oral or vaginal walls
are all targets for the candida albicans.
There are over 75 toxic substances that
yeast introduces to the host.
In great enough quantity, it can affect all the major organs including the brain
and the heart. In addition it contaminates tissue and weakens the immune and nervous
system. It
is very invasive.
When candida albicans are in their
fungal form, their structure includes long strands or roots that penetrate the surface on which they
lie. Eventually
there is so many of them that it starts to enter the blood system. From there, it’s a free ride on
the blood express to anywhere in the body.
Once candida albicans is in the blood
stream, things like arthritis, sinus and skin problems occur. There is even one case, where in
an autopsy of woman who died of heart failure, they found the heart enclosed in candida
yeast. This
is an isolated extremely rare situation but it gives you an idea of how serious this could
be.
